What are the causes of toothache?

The mouth is a very complex part of the human body, and several factors may cause it pain and discomfort. If certain pains may require medical consultation, others go with time. It is recommended to be very careful when dealing with the most common sore teeth :

– The abscess:

If your mouth is infected, your teeth can rot and develop pus in the middle. The abscess is extremely painful.

– The exposed root:

When caries wear your teeth, their roots may be exposed and stripped. This means that everything that touches your teeth, heat, cold or sugar, may induce pain.

– Cavities:

Who has not had cavities in his life? Even in their early stages of development, cavities are able to trigger toothaches.

– The teeth grinding or bruxism:

Some drugs can cause gnashing of teeth, and some people do not realize it overnight. Grinding causes toothache and weakens your teeth.

– Amalgam:

They designate dental fillings. Amalgams can peel off over time, which can cause pain.

– The jaw:

If your jaw hangs or if you have a temporomandibular dysfunction (problems with the jaw joint), you may suffer from toothache.
