This exercise helps to have a good body posture

The spine or backbone is one of the most important parts of the body. It is the support of the human body. The phenomenon of the curved spine, known as scoliosis, causes not only an aesthetic discomfort, but also health problems.

When you were younger, we certainly recommend you to stay upright, either at home or at school, some people have even suggested you to walk with a book on the head to have a good posture. This advice certainly annoyed you, but those people were right.

Rounded shoulders, curved spine … this phenomenon is widespread, especially among young people. It occurs naturally as the front body part grows faster than the rest of the body. It therefore becomes important to straighten the body and pratice a sporting activity to develop the back muscles, so they can effectively support the weight and relieve the spine.

Here is an exercise that helps strengthen the back muscles and straighten the body for perfect posture:

Lie on your stomach. Gradually raise your head and upper body. Keep your arms against your hips and try to stay in this position as long as possible. You will feel tense, because this exericese activates the majority of body muscles. Repeat this 10 times.

If you do this exercise daily while constantly increasing the number of repetitions, the result will surely be reached and your back will be straightened.

These movements also help fight diseases and pains in the neck and back, and can sculpt a beautiful silhouette.

An additional motivation for women: when the back and shoulders are in the right position, the chest is better maintained.

Note that scoliosis can develop and affect the function of several internal organs. It distorts the breast, changes the functioning of the lungs, heart and liver.
